The Biplane Chrono quartz chronograph is powered by a reliable Japanese movement: the central hand counts down the seconds and the counter at 9 o'clock records the minutes.
The chronograph and 24-hour indicators are highlighted by applied plates with meticulous finishing: decorative screws, engraving of concentric rings and sunray polishing. The current date aperture also has a mirror-polished applied frame.
With its complex case structure, unique dial design, and Swiss Ronda movement, the Runway Chrono P 033.10.36 chronograph is a prestigious and striking accessory that will highlight its owner's individuality. The steel case is composed of several parts, including a screw-down caseback and an applied bezel plate with additional indication. The caseback is secured with four screws and the watch's lugs are slightly curved, improving the watch's comfort on the wrist. The spiral-shaped engraving on the crown and on the chronograph pushers resembles the blades of an aircraft propeller, making them even more easy to use.
The central hour and minute hands are easily readable on the blue dial. They, like the applied hour markers, have a luminescent coating that glows in the dark. The minute counter and the small seconds hand are placed on a separate plate, highlighted with a sunray finish. The dial also features a tachymeter scale and a large window of the big date.
The engraving on the case back is an airplane flying in the clouds with the words “Let’s fly!” underneath which sounds like a call to action. It reflects the love of the creators of the Pilotage brand for flying, their admiration for pilots - conquerors of the Sky's Height. The number "6" on the dial was replaced by a stylized triangular marker.
The watch's water resistance has been increased to 10 atmospheres.
The steel bracelet of the model is made of links and has a reliable clip clasp with two side buttons. The design of the bracelet is emphasized by the alternation of matte and mirror-polished elements.
